Three ways homePick yours

Before we choose a name

Three ways to come home.

We're making soft furniture for grown-ups and little ones: sofas that arrive in a box and slowly breathe back into shape, a changing pad you'll never wrestle a cover onto, little floor seats that bloom from flat to round. We've imagined three different homes for it. Wander through all three, then tell us which one feels like yours.

About five minutes · three short stories · one choice

Lowena living room

Chapter One

lowena

Soft furniture for slow living.

lo · WEN · a

An old Cornish word for joy. Not the loud kind. The kind that arrives when the door closes behind you and the house goes quiet.

Quiet · Considered · Warm

Soft furniture for slow living.

Some evenings ask for nothing. A lamp, a book you've been meaning to finish, the hum of the dishwasher in the next room. Lowena is made for those evenings.

Our first sofa, The Hush, has no frame and no springs. It is a single block of carved foam under a quilted top layer, wrapped in a chenille that feels like a well-loved sweater. It sits low and deep, the way the best sofas do, but never so low that getting up becomes a negotiation.

It arrives in two boxes, folded small. You open them, and over three days it slowly breathes back into shape, as if it were settling in too.

Fuwari living room

Chapter Two

fuwarı

Soft, for everyone.

foo · WAH · ree

Japanese for the way soft things drift and settle: a feather landing, bread rising, a futon left in the sun until it puffs back up.

Gentle · Playful · Together

Soft, for everyone.

In a house with small children, the softest places get the most traffic. The sofa is a reading nook at seven, a trampoline at four, a fort by five, and finally, after bedtime, yours again.

Fuwari makes those places: a deep, cloud-soft sofa for the grown-ups, a play couch for the littles, a changing pad that wipes clean in one pass. One soft foam, two sizes of people.

Everything arrives small and plumps up at home. Children love watching it happen. So do we.

Uncoil living room

Chapter Three

UNCIL

Softness, engineered.

un · COIL

To unwind. To stretch out. To let your shoulders finally drop. Also: a sofa with no coils inside.

Honest · Precise · Calm

Softness, engineered.

We took the springs out of the sofa and asked what was left. A block of foam. A soft layer on top. A cover. A way to join one piece to the next. Then we got very particular about all four.

Uncoil is a sofa you can understand. Every module is carved from one block of resilient foam and topped with a quilted layer. The seat sits at 17.5 inches, because getting up matters as much as sinking in. Add a piece, take one away, rearrange it all when you move.

It ships in two boxes. On day one you'll see fold lines. By day three they're gone. We'll tell you exactly what to expect, because nothing about it is a secret.

From box to sofa
